What's On at Venue Cymru
Theatre, arena and everything in between, on the Llandudno promenade — and ten minutes from our front door.
Where it is, and how far.
Promenade, Llandudno LL30 1BB
About ten minutes on foot from The Rosedene, and flat the whole way down to the promenade.
-
Two buildings, one address
The theatre takes the touring musicals, the drama and most of the comedy. The arena next door handles the larger concerts and the Welsh Open snooker in late winter.
-
Getting there on foot
Ten minutes from the town centre and about the same from Llandudno railway station. Flat the entire way, which matters on the way back.
-
Parking
A Pay and Display car park at the rear, run by Conwy County Borough Council: roughly three pounds for two hours up to fourteen pounds fifty for the day. A space cannot be guaranteed on a sold-out night.
-
The local trick
Promenade parking is free after four in the afternoon, which covers almost any evening performance.
-
Blue badge
Designated bays sit to the left of the main entrance.
-
Eating first
Mamma Rosa sits on Mostyn Broadway just behind the venue, and is well used to a curtain-up deadline. Samphire at the Cae Mor is next door to Venue Cymru itself if you would rather only make the walk once.

What's on at Venue Cymru this month?
The diary on this page lists every date the venue has published, and it refreshes itself each morning. Shows are grouped by month, with the three nearest in each month shown first.
Where do you park at Venue Cymru?
There is a Pay and Display car park at the rear, run by Conwy County Borough Council: roughly three pounds for two hours, up to fourteen pounds fifty for the day. A space cannot be guaranteed on a sold-out night. The local trick is that promenade parking is free after four in the afternoon, which covers almost any evening performance.
How far is Venue Cymru from Llandudno town centre?
About ten minutes on foot, and roughly the same from Llandudno railway station. The walk is flat the entire way, which matters more on the way back than on the way there.
Is Venue Cymru a theatre or an arena?
Both, at one address. The theatre takes the touring musicals, the drama and most of the comedy. The arena next door handles the larger concerts and the Welsh Open snooker in late winter.
Where can we eat before a show at Venue Cymru?
Mamma Rosa sits on Mostyn Broadway just behind the venue and is well used to a curtain-up deadline. Samphire at the Cae Mor is next door to Venue Cymru itself if you would rather only make the walk once.
Where should we stay for a show at Venue Cymru?
The Rosedene is about ten minutes away on foot, so nobody has to drive or watch the clock for a taxi. Keyless entry means a late finish is never a problem.
Then don't drive home.
About ten minutes on foot from The Rosedene, and flat the whole way down to the promenade. Ten rooms, keyless entry at any hour, and a morning that is entirely your own.
