A Few Words from Our Guests.
Warm, welcoming and exceptionally spotless! We had a wonderful 2 night stay at The Rosedene. From the moment we booked the customer service was exceptional, with texts confirming the booking and to inform us our room was ready, much earlier than the check in time. On arrival we were warmly greeted by Andrea, shown to our beautiful room (Room 10) and given tips on where to go in the area. The guest house is centrally located within the town and close to the North beach, with everything you need right on the doorstep. There is on street parking outside and in the surrounding streets. The whole building is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated with lots of lovely little touches. Whilst they dont serve food at The Rosedene, they are fully licenced so you are able to have a drink in the welcoming lounge area, sit at the tables outside or take a bottle up to your room if you prefer. We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend The Rosedene, nothing was too much trouble for Andrea and we were made to feel at home immediately. We will be returning without a doubt!
Just spent 3 nights at Rosedene, could not fault it. Andrea and Mark are excellent hosts, nothing is too much trouble.Ideally situated for all amenities ie restaurants etc. The room spotless and fresh .Will definitely be booking again in the not to distant future. Geoff & Chris Smith
Excellent I had a very peaceful and enjoyable time. The room was clean and tidy and the place was quiet. I have been there a number of times and I would recommend it. My only regret is that it is room only and not bed and breakfast as it was in the past. The proprietors are kind and friendly.
A Week at The Rosedene The Rosedene is an excellent guest house with good access to local restaurants shopping, Llandudno Bay and the pier. From the north end of Avon Avenue, the Victoria Tram Station is a five-minute walk and Tram return travel up to the Great Orme costs £10.50 for adults. Alternatively, the journey can be made from the Happy Valley cable car station round by the pier (don’t know the price). At the southern (town) end of Avon Avenue is Gloddaeth Avenue which runs to the West Shore, which takes about 25 minutes to walk. The west shore has a sandy section which is better for the bathing, a model boating pool, views of Snowdonia and a miniature railway that runs at weekends. The area is well served by buses so local attractions and resorts can be reached without driving but if you have an English senior bus pass you're out of luck - Welsh buses don't accept them. Rosedene proprietors Mark and Andrea will look after you and the rooms are very comfortable and well-appointed. My only criticism would be the lack of road parking in Avon Avenue. We were fortunate to find a parking spot on our arrival but I’m sure Mark and Andrea would be able to help you with this anyway.
